Root Phone stuck in boot loop, can't restore with Optimus S firmware

Just installed ICS pre-beta 1, and it seemed to work until it froze, and rebooted.

Now, it's stuck in a boot loop. Can't access recovery, can't get adb to recognize it, and taking out the battery and holding the power button for 30 seconds has done nothing.

I've tried following the guide to fixing using the Optimus S firmware, but the LG Update application can't seem to connect to the server anymore.

Help?
 
Uh oh. What was the exact step that stopped working for you? I'm assuming you've opened up kp500. Where does it stop working after that?

Gets past the first part, where it's getting all the phones info. Gets to the point where it tries to download the update, but says it can't connect to the server.

Well, I can keep on trying, but my replacement arrives tomorrow. Is it worth it to keep trying? It's currently rooted and (obviously) has ICS installed. Is it likely they'll be able to fix it and discover any of that?
