Help Phone Stuck on Android screen!!

My phone suddenly restarted and it is now stuck at the Android screen. Dont know what to do?? Can anyone help me??

Hi was it after a new installation ?

boot into recovery
voldown + call + power

when the triangle comes up press the home key and choose restore/recover

Yes after a new installation but the program was running fine until the screen suddenly blank out!!

got the phone to reset!! Everything is gone now!!

What can i do in the future to prevent this from happening again?

what did you install on the phone before this happened?

dont know why it would cause an issue but sometimes apps are not great for the phones and can kill them.
dont install that as its probably your culprit

This is normal after a new install your contacts are saved on gmail ,if you use it, the rest, there are apps on market for saving the other settings I do not use them so I can not recommend any for you

some people on this forum speak loudly about an app called titanium backup but it needs root

for full backup of phone contents there's this amazing app called sprite backup (doesn't need root) that u can use !!!!
