Help Phone won't connect to PC? Help please

When I first got the phone a week ago I had no problem, now when I try my PC says device not recognized and I get no notification on my phone that it's connected. What am i doing wrong?

Go to menu, settings, applications, development and make sure usb debugging is turned off.

Try using a different USB port on your computer. Sometimes some work better than others.

Look to see if your drivers on your computer are up to date. I think I had that same issue and all it needed was an update of the LG driver and I was good to go.

I second that ^^. Neither my OpV or my Intercept would work until I installed the proper drivers.

I tried the debugging tip... no luck also won't work on either USB's I tried and hate to be a newbie but how do I go about seeing if my LG Drivers are up to date on my PC? btw thanks for the responses

I think I just searched for LG Optimus V driver download.

Here are instructions for getting the drivers for the OV. You also need these drivers for rooting.

well after trying all the things everyone has suggested and calling LG help(lol) the only thing I found that works is to unmount the SD card and throw it in my card reader. Works like a charm and no problem, it just sucks that I can't just do it with the SD card in the phone, atleast now I can swap files and add and take off whatever I want with not too much hassle. Thanks for all the help

I would return the phone. It is a PITA to keep taking out the uSD, especially if you have a case.

One last workaroundownload from the market Extended controls(widgets)it has a widget that says "Enable mass storage",it might work,it might not.Can't hurt to try
