I have a question, on the top it always acts like its running on 4g and does not have the option to toggle between 4g and 3G any ideas??
From what I read on the owner's manual (from Samsung's website) that it'll show a symbol up top that says 4G and then ZZZZZ, which it'll do until you need the LTE service again, and then it turns back on. I could be incorrect, but is that what you were referring to? If not, ignore me.
, the funny thing is that where I live there is no LTE support yet, so I don't know if I'm running on regular 4g or on 3G lOlSorry to say I am returning mine today as it is a little too big for my tastes and I will continue to use my SG2 International on AT&T. The lack of decent case for the Skyrocket killed it for me.
The Skyrocket IS slick but big.
The funny thing is that I'm switching to the sgs2 skr and my previous phone was the iPhone so yea the screen seems HUGE compared to the iPhone one , the sgs2 also seems to sip a lot more battery than the iPhone did
Yeah that is an android thing Haha.
I will have some battery savers up for u guys. soon
Lol same here some features from the i4 I do miss but overall I can say this is better the screen itself is so bright and big that alone is worth the upgrade, have you got used to the keyboard yet? Lol I'm using the Samsung one works like a charm, also what's Kobo?? Any other cool apps ad widgets you happen to find please share!!Bought mine Sunday at noon. I'm coming from an I4 so this is a learning experience. Si far its great, can't put it down. The market is not as broad as the appstote but I'm alright with that. Kobo looks and works great, the reason I bought the phone is for a larger ereader (among other things).
Sure miss my "time builders: pyramid rising" game tho, but its not really a complaint.
Cameras good. Music player is not as good as I4 but decent.
so far using it for almost 24 hrs, I couldn't go back to the I4. It will only improve from here.
Thanks,
Revenuer
Love the screen size as compared with my i4. Still getting familiar with the phone.
It's process brother, lol the keyboard is one area that's giving me a headache
Agreed, typing on an iphone was effortless, whereas I'm constantly having to hit backspace on the GS2S. Autocomplete is very annoying as well. I've turned it off but it still seems to have a mind of its own.
. I do like that there are some keys on the alpha keyboard, that I used to have to switch to the numeric keyboard to hit on the iphone keyboard. I am now trying out swype after hearing so many of my co-workers crow about this entry method. No it does not
Though there are some really cool Alps in the market that can manipulate pixels on the screen to do that. I have never tried them but search "Notifier"
