Root Picture Messages

hey i am running velocity 1.1 and having problem receiving picture messages...when ever i get a message there is a download button but when i press it never downloads picture...have anyonelse had the same problem or heard of someone having this problem?

Clear all user data and flash velocity again. It sucks. It's happened to me several times
