Help Pictures lose quality when sent

When I send anyone a picture (even a screenshot), it loses it's quality. What's up with that? When my girlfriend wants to send me a pic from her same phone, it is better for her to upload it to FB and let me download it than it is for her to send it directly to me.

That's because android has a file size limit on media messages. By default it converts the pic into a media message, slimming down its size, in turn taking away the definition of the picture. ..

There is another version of the messaging app on my ZTE warp that's been changed to remove the converting of media messages. But it requires scripts to run and I didn't make it. So that may come down the road

I have downloaded hanscent and use that to send MMS. Problems solved.
