That's strange because I just went to the Market via PC and it says PvZ is compatible with my Android device . I wonder why yours says different ?
Interesting point, Biker Ol' Buddy. I did not check it out on the PC.
It is installed now from Amazon, so I will go and see what Market says on my laptop.
Thanks to Optimus, Big Daddy Zap, and Skater for three fast solutions.
Of course, I went with Big Daddy as the easiest for me. Have not used Amazon apps in a while and wanted to check them out too. Quick and easy, but I had to go to Krystal down the street to download the 70MB over Wifi. Lol.
Skater, I used one of those imposter apps one time but for some reason did not like it. I am sure that would have been easy and kept everything in the Market. Which one do you Use?
I was intrigued by Optimus' build.prop option, but not today. Definitely, soon though. Gonna learn that shit soon enough. I Coulda used a little (as in big) hint on the parameters though. Lol.
Thanks to all of you. You too, Biker.
Oh, BTW, I don't really (as in never) play games, but I did this to test out a really big app with Hroark's sd-ext extended memory kernel. He really needs to come up with a catchy name for it.
Anyway, played PvZ long enough to get to level 2 and got my brains eaten. I know, I suck.
Played a little Angry Birds Rio too. Got lots of apps installed. No memory problems. Everything seems ok to me, but I am not a gamer, obviously.
EDIT: Biker, I went to Market from my laptop and it said it would install at first. I had to log into gmail and read all that ominous suspicious creepy Google legalese they are setting us up for and then when it brought up the screen to purchase, it asked me which phone to install but none were highlighted.
Amazon worked yesterday. I know that the free app of the day requires that you leave the app store installed. I hope this does not apply to purchased apps also.
