Will these video files ever be supported?

Thanks,
I did try this player before and it played my AVI's with choppy audio and a black screen.
Even with the two recommended codecs ARM V6 and ARM V6VFP.

But the trick for me was to tick the "Default Using Soft-Decoding" box in settings.

Or

Long press the media thumbnail in the gallery and select "Soft-Decode" from the pop-up menu.

MoboPlayer now plays my AVI files with no lag at all. Sound and picture are crystal clear.
Thanks again Heloguy for making me think twice on this player

Does this media app support .mkv files? As I have a number of anime files in mkv format and I would perfer not to have to reencode them to something else to have them work

I dont think any of them support .mkv It would be nice to find out but those files are normally High Def I am unsure if the phone could handle them.

I believe I've gotten .mkv's to run on one called QQ Player. Don't recall if it was that one or Mobo but it was one of the two. I've actually deleted Mobo for QQ Player. It just seems to run with less lag for more files and is much smaller.
