Well the latest version of Google Play Store is out. See the Engadget article here. Google Play Store 4.0 redesign rolling out to Android phones and tablets today
According to Engadget...
" The update will be available for any phone or tablet running Android 2.2 or better, and it will begin rolling out today worldwide"

Will this update work with our Samsung admires?

I get install errors on CTmod, Doesn't seem to work on stock either, I will try again.

Direct Download Link Removed
Try this instead: http://phandroid.com/2013/04/09/google-play-update-apk/

Hmm... I get a problem parsing package on my motion.... but if you wanna check out the CTMod thread.... Killeh wrote a GREAT guide for the correct perrmisions for the playstore update. (Thanks killeh!!! :) )
Just remember to make a backup...

Sorry, but we don't allow direct download links to non-Play store sources at AF. I've deleted the direct download link as a result. But I've linked to a phandroid.com story that may help ;)

Well the oringal method of download and install didn't work for me. I found one that can be flashed by CWM. on Rootz wiki

Well some good news The google play 4.0.25 works on the lastest version of CTmod 3.80 on admire. Just download the apk and install.

If you're still having problems installing try renaming the apk to vending.apk, delete your old vending.apk in system/app, and then move the new vending.apk to system/app and set the correct permissions then reboot. All of this using root explorer or a similar app.

There is a way to force the update. Simply open the play store and close it until it updates itself. May work for some, may not. Try your luck. Worked for my moms motion.
