play store apps wont download on blu kuban rom ,why?

I noticed play store acts up every time I flash a new ROM. Usually it will start working after a little while but this is a persistent problem in this ROM.what can I do to fix this?

typically, roms will come with a google apps package that includes the play store. is this how you're installing the play store, or are you using another method?

The kuban comes with it since its stock based. .

Try clearing the data for the playstore

Also a reboot after clearing markets cache/data should get it working.

This happened to me as well on my evo 3d/gs2/gs3 on every flash. It's not just you

what's even stranger is that i tried out Sophos Antivirus for Android and it reported all the inverted system apps as Trojans.

Also depends which rom your using. . Jakk are you using a tw jb Rom? If so are you using the repack kernel with agats? That would be the issue.

Or if your on aosp jb are u having the issue with just themed apps that came with the rom? Like inverted YouTube or Google search. You won't be able to just update themed system apps

I'd post on the official Blu Kuban thread @xda. You should get a quick response with a solution. I am on BK and am not having issues downloading.

One thing I noticed is you are downloading YouTube in your screenshot. The is a themed version of it that can be installed with the rom; do you happen to already have that installed?

i did have the inverted apps installed. the thing that struck me strangely was that when i originally flashed the Blu Kuban, the inverted apps updated and changed back to normal. when i used the updater to reinstall the inverted apps though, it changed the signature i guess so it was unable to update from the market.

i changed roms and am getting much better battery life now!
