Help Playing music and video through car BT

I have an Evo 4G and would like to know if there's a way to play the sound from music & movies on my SD card through the car stereo speakers using my Bluetooth carlink. I have a 2008 Cadillac CTS with the handsfree Bluetooth factory module installed and I have paired it with my Evo. Phone audio works flawlessly. I tried downloading a couple of market apps that looked like they would work in switching media audio through Bluetooth (Bluetooth Switcher and Super BT Mono Froyo), but neither seemed to work. Any help would be appreciated...thanks!

depends on what the cts is set up for. some of those modules (our chevy was this way,just traded it in on an outback and they have 2 versions..one "media hub that does music and phone the other phone only) are only set up for phone audio not music and definitely not video

while connected to the bt go into your phones bt settings and make sure it is connected to phone and audio
