Make a backup!

Unzip PSstore.zip

Place the contents of .jar in
System/framework folder
Place contents of permissions folder in
System/etc/permissions

Add these two lines to your build.prop
ro.semc.dashboard.xperiaplay=true
ro.semc.dashboard.searchuri=http://pss.dl.playstation.net/pss/content/list.html

Reboot Phone!

Install preinstalledservices.apk
Install PSpocket.apk

games are installed like so:

When you get your games .apk, install it like an app, it may say "blah blah is force closing", that's fine now unzip the .apk with root explorer. in the unzipped folder you will find a folder called assets. Inside the assets folder is a
.zpak file. Move this file to the directory
Android/(corresponding game folder)/file/content.
That's it. easy. If you find a game with the data the data also goes in the
Android/(corresponding game folder)/file/content.

I haven't downloaded any content from the ps store yet because I can't get the ps store servers to recognize my phone as an xperia. But I may have a line on several helpful files. Pm me.

Ok.. I finally finished this. I just played crash bandicoot 3. I got the game apps working so they are totally playable, and crash is smooth as butter. Still trying to get PlayStation store to recognize my phone as an xperia play but, hopefully, It shouldn't be too much longer, and yes the emulator is built into these games so you won't need any off of the market for these.
I didn't sleep much last night so I'll finish this in the morning.

Oh, my photobucket is acting up but here is a pic

that's pretty sweet bro.;)

aaaaaahhhhh!! 4shared isn't letting me upload anything!
What else can I use that's free to upload files?

Add contents of permissions folder to YOUR systems permissions folder.
Add contents of .jar folder to Your systems framework.

In the zip theres no seperate folders for .jar and permissions so what goes where?

Ok. Fixed it again.
contents of each folder go:
.jar files go in your framework folder
.xml files go in your permissions folder

Thank you for being patient. It's my first time

Are you referring to the permissions folder located in /system/etc/permissions?

question: how does it work without a physical pull out controller like the xperia has?

The copy of crash bandicoot gives the option to you on screen controls, so I am assuming that other games will have this same option, but I won't know until I can actually get a hold of more games. They are really hard to find.

You mean you just need copies of your psp isos and you'll be able to Play it? Or does the xperia have .apk games?

The ps certified games for the xperia are in .apk format.
However, there is a program called PsXperia 2.0 that converts
Psx iso's into apk format

Damn nice. All we need is to be able to use an external game pad, unless the on screen one is easy to use and doesn't get in the way.
Any luck with getting our phone to be recognized as an xperia?

I have a Bluetooth gameloft that work with the emulators but there is no option for externals in the games.
And I am still working on getting our phones to be recognized. It's something in the build.props,
I am having trouble renaming my phone as an xperia though.
When I change my devise name, model, and brand I have to reboot and I never get past the boot animation after reboot.
Has anyone tried to put this on their esteem yet?

I'll try right now.
I was thinking about getting an xperia but if we can get this to work I'll stick with my esteem haha.
