"Please check back tomorrow"

I just got my tracking number and it said 2 day for the 30th! I called and they said it was a mistake and they will try to get it updated to overnight. I ordered on the 25th and got the free overnight promotion! How lame this is. Never had a problem with ATT for the 8 years i had them. Not starting off on the right foot here. Its only 3 hours south of me in Ontario!
 
I got tired of checking Verizon's status and called 800-711-7773. They gave me my Fedex tracking number which confirmed shipment from Memphis to Nashville by 3pm tomorrow.

I think the demand for this phone totally overwhelmed Verizon's status system.
 
So, congrats to I guess everybody in the world except me.... I think I'm the only one left not to have a tracking number yet.... I tried calling internet support and got a rather impatient rep who informed me that all orders will ship out today... I guess somebody had to be last... To everybody getting phones tomorrow... Enjoy and congratulations!!!
 
Looking back on all of this, I can't believe how much anguish I put myself through this past week. LOL! This week I have been waking up before my alarm even woke me up. Just hoping that it would be the day of getting a tracking or something! I was almost to the point of anxiety attacks at times.

I now feel immature and foolish. And not to mention the 12 or so calls that I've made to Verizon's internet sales team over the past few days. It's crazy! :eek:

You're not alone Sortsol. All I have is a verbal "your order has been completed", but no tracking number, email, or update on the "order status" page yet. I guess now it's a contest to see who will be last. (I hope I don't win.)
 
Finally saw the charge on my account for the phone this afternoon and just got an email w/tracking # about 20 minutes ago and will be here tomorrow. Phone was ordered on 4/21.

I'm officially excited!

Bank account has been charged, but no email, no tracking number, and my status on the website is still "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow" :(
 
Alright they charged my card 400 dollars on there own, you'd think they would wait for me to tell them to charge it or to use another card but noo
 
I just got an e-mail a little while ago giving me directions for phone activation, but my order status says, "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days." ... I ordered on the 26'th, so shouldn't I be getting the phone tomorrow sometime? How are some people getting phones already, or tomorrow, & have ordered later than me?

Verizon was really overwhelmed but this product release I think. My order status is still showing up as "check back tomorrow," but this morning around 10 am I received an email stating that my order was processed and that I would receive my phone tomorrow (next business day). I am surprised b/c I ordered with two day shipping, so it looks like they upgraded me to meet their goal of delivery by 4/29. At noon I got an email with the Fedex tracking info. At 2 pm I got another "your order has been processed" lol.
 
I ordered mine on 4/21 and still it says "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow"

I'm way behind in the race.
 
Disappointed as I thought we had until 28 April at 4:00 local time to guarantee delivery by 29 April. Looks like I will be stuck with my pos BB Storm for yet another day. VZW was definitely overwhelmed by pent up demand for this phone.
 
if they made a mistake on your credit card would they give you back the money? because i never agreed to pay the deposit
 
I have my tracking number, but it's still in Memphis----- and I'm n Austin, TX. Should I be concerned?

My status still says the same as yours now (9:50 EST) but I got tracking info at 4:00 today. If there is no problem with your order maybe it will show up on time.

Yeah, at this point, I wouldn't trust the VZ status page at all. Mine _still_ says "processing", even though I got the tracking number (via email) an hour ago, and according to FedEx, they picked up my shipment 7 hours ago...

So, lovespekes, if it still says processing, as long as you've been charged, I would feel safe assuming that it's all good and is on it's way. If you still haven't been charged yet, though, definitely call VZ!
 
So I got an email saying my package was shipped via FedEx, but no "Tracking Number" .. There's the Internet Order Reference Number, but no specific link or number for tracking. I'm assuming since it says "shipped," that is has, but no way to know for sure or how to find out.

Any suggestions?
