Root Please help me format my internal SD card

Please help me format my internal SD card. Right now it looks like this, and I want to format it to default folders without risks.

For example, I did a secure backup a really long time ago, and I wish to erase the folder it created with it, but at the same time know if it's safe to delete, or have a way to delete everything, and only leave default stock folders.

I have ClockWorkMod Recovery v6.0.1.1, and I see the option "mounts and storage" / "format /sdcard", but I don't know if that's the right option.

Copy and paste it to your pc. Boot into cwm and wipe internal sd.

I usually go through and delete things manually to save all my app data or whatever.


I know this has been talked about many times do you might find useful info if you search.

Thank you, the problem is, I don't know what is safe to delete, for example, I think "Android.Secure" is a really old buckup of the system, but Idk weather it's safe to delete or not.

Also, is it the option in CWM called "Mounts and storage/ format sdcard" the right option?
 
Ok you should delete that android secure only if you flashing a new rom that folder would only keep the apps you move from phone to sd card it when you select that option in rom tool box pro or if you download a app to sd from the playstore ..second if u do a manual wipe better known as format data,catch,system and format the emmc ...BUT NEVER HIT THE FORMAT SD.CARD ...:mad::eek: I REPEAT NEVER HIT THE FORMAT SD.CARD UNLESS U HAVE A FULL SD CARD BACKUP. Folders to keep would be add ons and anything rom related and keep music and dcpi also any games ..... do like me i make folders put personal apps . Themes etc i need for roms .make sure u lable it
 
Make sure that last file you have called 2.5 beta just add .zip at the end when you press rename file and chose that one. Also keep the clockworkmod file the rapsph.music the dcmi, downloads,gameloft.... keep that gameloft cause it take so long to download and it has your game data in it if u delete you have to start from the beginning .
 
Thanks you, I just thought there would be an option to go back to default folders. I'll investigate more, but thank you for warning me about that option.
 
Well what sd card do you have and you will need to go to advance and do dalvick cache and battery now wheh done both of them you need to select the reboot back to system and then try it again .
