Root Please Help Me Re-Root After FW Update

I was having reboot problems (among a slew of other problems) so I decided to update my firmware. Didn't work. So I decided to wipe the slate clean and attempt to install a custom ROM. However it seems, and I hope that I am wrong, that this updated firmware doesn't allow for a root. I tried to root it with OneClickRoot and it attempts to shove 149 zerglings into various locations and fails at putting files in certain locations. Root fails.

I found a post where we can downgrade from my SW version (MS910ZVC) to an older version which I assume is a rootable version. Please tell me I don't have to do this because almost every step so far is giving me an error.

So bottom line, is there a root for MS910ZVC? Or am I going to have to spend a month in that thread trying to downgrade?

Nope ZVC is unrootable at this time.

I did the same (upgrading to ZVC), & when it comes to working on a computer, i really suck bananas with it, for christ sake i'm only using 2 fingers to type this. lol.
it's really not hard to follow instruction in downgrading back to ZVB. its worth doing it

The procedure is pretty easy. As I said Ihave now done it three times.
