Root Please Help Me :((

so a couple of days ago i made a backup of my esteem, yes i am rooted, running rom #2 on ZVD. After that the phone started acting weird and randomly shutting off but only when it wasn't charging or plugged in. i restored the backup and the problem persisted except sometimes it wouldnt boot at all and now it's not booting at all!! :( when i plug it into the charger i am able to get to CWM but when i try to restore or install another rom it looks like its about to boot and it doesnt. it gets to the point before the boot animation then it shuts inself off! I dont know if this means anything but it will only boot into CWM from the charger not from the computer, when on the computer it just reboots over and over. ANy way to get it up and running again? :(

You best bet is to remove root and take it to your nearest metro store or where you bought it to have them check it out.. sounds to me like a hardware issue..

Put that on your as and flash it. Then report back.
 
i already put the exitrecovery file on and flashed it but nothing happened. if i were to get a different backup onto my phone would i beable to restore it?
 
md5 mismatch, make sure the name has no spaces in it. That will cause an md5 mismatch.


you can always try downgrading to zvb and upgrading again. This will put you at bone stock out of the box brand new. Then you can tell if its software or hardware.

You also can manually Install your backup,boot to recovery go to back up and restore Then your going to choose advanced Restore then you should see 5 files data/system/cache/etc... your going to install one by one click on the file and restore after you finish reboot your phone that should work.
