Root Please help removing bloatware...

Tboltfan25

Android Enthusiast
So i rooted today, and so far so good! I haven't done too much yet, haven't flashed any ROMS, but I would like to remove all the blaotware that comes with the TB, before i worry about flashing ROMs, and I can't figure out how to do so or what program to use. If someone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it. Thanks

i have titanium backup, the free one, am I able to remove the bloatware to my SD with that program? and if so, how do I?

Open titanium, press the Backup/restore tab click the app you wish to remove and choose uninstall

Use titanium to backup your apps. Then you can uninstall what you don't want. Just don't delete your backups.

I used Titanium to backup my apps, but then went ahead and used Super Manager to move the files to a folder i created on my SD (TB Bloat) and all the files changed to saying (No Install) next to them, they all disappeared from my app drawer so ladies and gents...I am bloatware free!

The pro version is awesome and will save you TONS of time when you start getting addicted to flashing. Dont get it confused, you WILL get addicted. You can freeze items with the pro version as well which is great for things you dont want to run, but occasionally need.

What they said ^

Titanium Pro will save you a lot of time, definitely worth it. Along with Root Explorer. There's lots of file browsing programs, but Root Explorer is the best and worth more than the $1 or so it costs when it comes to the ease of deleting and moving programs.

It's true. I deleted Let's Golf and my phone exploded. Twice.

Oh you didn't hear lets golf is programmed with a self destruct sequence that activates upon uninstall. Ibrick you should have read the manual that came with one of those phones :)

Open titanium, press the Backup/restore tab click the app you wish to remove and choose uninstall
I did this with the Blockbuster app and the phone rebooted to a screen with an exclamation point and a droid icon. Now it doesn't seem to be leaving that screen. I believe I chose to Force Remove.

Let's keep this non-confrontational, please.

A bit of topic drift, a joke here and there is ok.. but talk about the subject at hand and not one another. ;)
