Help Please Help - Samsung App Updates

My Verizon S4 keeps telling me that I have 2 updates pending. I click on the icon (looks like a shopping bag) and nothing happens...

Any suggestions? It's driving me crazy.

I'm not rooted, but couldn't find where to post...? :)
 
Yeah, I keep getting this too. I get the notification that there are two Samsung Apps with updates but nothing ever updates. Wish I could help with this.

I accidentally posted this twice last night and someone commented on my other post.

They said that when it happens again to long press and choose details. Clear data & cache.

I went to settings - more - my apps - all, and found it so that I could do the clearing. Not sure if it'll work, but it's really annoying. :-)
 
I was having the same thing happen every time I restarted my phone.
You need the Samsung Apps app to handle the update process or nothing happens and the notice keeps returning.
I downloaded the Samsung Apps app from Google Play and it allowed me to update the apps in question and the notices stopped appearing.

Samsung Apps app? Are you referring to the Samsung Hub app? I have the Samsung Hub app installed. I don't see a Samsung Apps app in the play store.
 
I guess I don't understand how to download the updated from the hub...?

I can't download the apps app because it isn't on Google play...
 
Ok this has me completely confused as well. How do I log into the Samsung Hub? I don't see anything on there except how to download new books, movies, music, games etc...I don't see anything for an account. I also can't find a Samsung apps app...can someone provide a link.

Any help to get rid of these notifications would be great. I get them like 2-3 times a day.
