Help Please Help - System partition is still protected

Hello SGS2 experts !

A riddle for you guys:

After performing CF-ROOT and changing the kernel to a rooted kernel and trying to install a software that requires root access the following is displayed:
"The system partition is still protected. please check your device"

Does anyone have a clue ?

Any help is appreciated

Joe

It seems that CF-ROOT do give root perm but the system partition is not writable.
Does anyone know how to make the system partition writable ?

Either change the permission of the required folder(s) to rw via a terminal session, or (as in the article you linked to) use a file manager that lets you do it. Note that /system is always mounted read-only at boot.
