That there is for the s2. You are in an s3 forum. If you own the i9100 then no extraction is necessary. Just flash that tar file in odin.

Not sure how the s2 works but if it's anything like the s3 you will need to put your phone into download mode. Place the tar file on your computer and with the phone plugged to your computer find the tar file i. Pda and flash.
You should probably ask this in the s2 forum. They would know more and be able to provide you with more detailed steps.
