Help Please help with USB connection

Ever since I upgraded the other day everytime I plug my phone into my computer to charge I get a "Preparing SD card" message at the top of the screen along with a non stop chime. It last's for a few minutes before it ends up stopping on it's own. If I use the wall charger it won't do it. Any thoughts? this nonstop chiming is driving me crazy.
 
I don't know what the chiming is, but if you drag your notification bar, press the USB Connection entry and change it to "Charge Only", it'll stop mounting your SD card to your computer.
 
Also make sure you have debugging mode turned off for USB, otherwise it won't install the updated drivers needed to sync with the computer.
