i dropped my lg optimus v in a bucket of water it still works thank god but now my camera and back button dont work they only open recent apps is there a way i can fix this i need the camera button to work for the clock work recovery so i can flash a rom

I've actually never used the camera button in recovery. I've read that it selects but I've always used the menu button because it's worked fine and is more conveniently located. Maybe you should try that.

Change to the xionia version 1.2518.6 recovery. The selection button is the menu or home button, read instructions in link.
It will still work on IHO ROM's, just wipe and format everything twice.

Chances are the buttons will start working again in a few weeks. That's how a water damaged phone tends to act. Within three months or so the phone will settle down, and that's when you'll know what still works, and what doesn't.
