Yeah the gs2 is pretty hard to brick. The only occasions I've heard of the i9100 being hard bricked was when someone flashed some gs1 firmware or an epic ROM on it. I can't really say if the blue light means its charging as I'm kind of going across model but id think you should have a charging symbol on screen. I suppose give it a while and see if download mode works. If it doesn't you'll probably have to find other means to charge th battery.

Well, it was hard bricked. Even a jig wouldnt get it into download mode. Luckily that meant that sprint couldnt determine what was up with it and just swapped it for a refurb. Pretty happy that it was so effed that they couldnt even tell what was up with it. But, ticked that i couldnt get it goin myself

I used this to restore my back to default EK02. After you flash using Odin your phone will update itself back to EL29. Hope this will help.
