Pocketnow.com - HTC Inspire 4G; 2-13, $100

Any of you guys planning on buying it as soon as it launches or are any of you guys like me, planning on waiting a bit, seeing some reviews of the phone, scoping out the development community (wait until a root method is discovered) and then make the plunge?

On paper, I really want this phone. The DHD was my dream phone the day it was announced but with LTE around the corner and all of these dual core devices popping up, I am somewhat unsure.

Does AT&T offer one-year contracts?

I'm going to buy it as soon as it comes out. I have faith that some developing gods will find a way to root this phone, but until that day comes, I'll run Sense UI. I doubt that there will be negative reviews of this phone. From what I've seen from people at CES, the phone is great to them, and me! Plus, if you want to see what it will be like, you can just watch the Thunderbolt hands on videos on Youtube.

For me, dual-cores mean literally nothing at this time. Sure, in the next year, dual-core will mean something, but for now, nobody will be utilizing that technology aside from Nvidia, which will have the Tegra Game Zone. But I'm not a big gamer, unless its on my 360.

That sounds familiar lol

I was going to be skeptical until some reviews came out too,but I am getting excited about the INSPIRE!! I am sure since this is just a copy of another phone released, unless ATT adds some goofy software to it to tear it up then the thing will run fine.

I do have the HTC Aria and that phone runs just fine, only thing bad about it...it's tiny and NO clue if ATT will ever put 2.2 on it and just don't feel like a ROM.

Other then that it works great!! That's why I will probably get this on day 1 too, as I am sure it will be just a fine addition!!

Look at desire HD video reviews very similar phone

Same phone, same specs, same design, same Sense.

Only difference being the Inspire has 4GB internal storage (plus an included 8GB SD) while the DHD has 1.5GB built in.
