Help Poor emulator compatibility on SGS2?

Has anybody had any luck getting psx4droid working on this device?
or even the GBA emulator for that matter.

psx4droid works well on the original galaxy but doesn't even load up games on the SGS2.

I have installed the app, loaded up the bios (scph1001.bin) and downloaded compatible games such as crash bandicoot (1) in a .bin format. Same with grand theft auto (1)

I get a black screen on start up, and the controls which usually appear don't appear too.

Any help would be appreciated

Rick

Are you using the PSX4droid v3? Get it from Zodttd's site if not (zodttd.com)

The old versions are no longer supported since Google pulled them by Sony's request.

You can also try FPSE

I think gingerbread makes it hard for the psx4droid to work well, at least that's what I read somewhere. I had no luck with my own roms ripped from my discs with alcohol120. Anyone got it to work? Also it depends on the ROM your Galaxy S2 is running on, in my case it's Cognition S2 version 1.13. Gingerbread 2.3.4...

Cognition S2 v1.40 user here and FPSe 0.10.54 crashes right after loading my favourite psx iso -used to work running the same emulator on Cognition S2 v.1.31. Is anybody experiencing the same problem?
