I'm dealing with the issue where my signal goes from full to nothing too, like VolsMcFalls is talking about. I'm dropping both data and voice like a bad habit. I've had my sim card replaced and the phone replaced once with no improvement.
I don't see it listed anywhere to confirm that I have the I515.10 or I515.09 and I didn't see it on my first phone but there's a sticker in my new phone behind the battery, different from the first phone, that reads:
However when I boot into fastboot, it reads "HW version 10". So I'm going assume I'm rocking I515.10.
Now Verizon has opened an NRB Ticket which I believe is related to a network issue and gets you to Tier 2 support.
//// Side note: I got to Tier 2 support the last time I talked to them and the guy tells me that the Gnex is his favorite phone and he's an expert on it... 2 minutes later, he's opening a ticket and he asks: So is this the regular Samsung Galaxy Nexus or is it the SIII? So clearly they're not the cream of the crop. ////
They're telling my that it can't be the phone if it's happening on the replacement, so it must be the network.
So they're actually going to have some techs checking out the network in my area. At this point they ask me for some addresses for where my issue is occurring. I give them some but tell them that I don't have to be in an any particular location and that it's happening everywhere, even outside my local area. The most frustrating part is that my call dropped twice while I was on the latest call with them and they had to call back. I guess they got a little taste of my frustration.
The phone works much better when I switch it to 3G, but I'm not telling them that because I'm worried that they'll just tell me to keep it there, not that I'll stand for that. I'd really like my problem fixed. I dig stock android and don't really want to go to another phone. I guess if I had to I could handle the SIII, but I think the bootloader is still locked, so no stock that way.
Anyhow, sorry for the book. The fact of the matter is, this seems to be all too common and it's not getting fixed. And I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with it for another year and a half.

I should of worded that differently. I meant... why did Verizon users not get a CDMA radio fix. Seems they needed it a hell of a lot more than the GSM users.
