Okay, WiFi For the Older Kernel!

Download bcm4325.ko
Place the File on the sdcard of the Behold 2 ( Don't Forget to Un-mount after )
Now we Open cmd prompt & type the Following
adb shell
cat /sdcard/bcm4325.ko > /system/libmodules/bcm4325.ko

That's it, Wifi should work Perfect Now! Remember this is For the Older Kernel. So, If your wifi no longer works, follow these Directions :)

Just wanted to say that you have made it easy for me to make the switch from the MT3G to the behold 2 i was overwhelmed at first with th whole adb thing but your guide along with others have made the transition easy. thanx

This worked. Thanks! Did you happen to see my question regarding the update? Do you recommend waiting until TMobile gives me the update before doing this? Everything appears to be working. What would be the benefit of waiting for the official one from TMobile?

Um? Can't say as I've not gotten the New Kernel. But, My source at Samsung said there's Nothing Life changing in the New Kernel.
Mostly Patches for it was all he was able to comment on.

Okay, Just and Update. You don't Have to Manually remove tha batterystats.bin... The script is working correctly, I just wasn't paying Att. to the time stamps on the File. :)

BH_MAN:

Thank you for sticking around to answer all of our questions. I know it takes a lot of patience to deal with people like us who are all new to this. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I appreciate your hard work on all of this, especially since you're doing it on your own time!

My official review of your new updated BH2 Stock is a good one. Everything is working great. It's fast, which is a plus because I hate laggy phones. I absolutely LOVE the cube button being a search button. Samsung should have made this a search button to begin with. This will be handy once we have Google Nav and can use it as a voice navigator! I was able to install Swype and all of my other apps that I use on a regular basis.

So thanks again BH_MAN! You are much appreciated around here!

BH_MAN, I'm a bit confused. The updated files are supposed to install the update as well right? Coz I have not received any update from tmo. But on the first post you updated, it says wifi fix for old kernel. i thought the new files have the update?

please advice.

and thanks

@Bangsters, if you haven't received the update you will need that one additional file. The rest of the update includes the core *updates* (ie changes to existing files) from Samsung , but it didn't include this one additional file.

Also worth noting - if you have ODIN'd back to stock after receiving the update (like I did), you WILL need to follow the additional WiFi fix steps.

wooot!!! this is nice! new keyboard as well! thanks BH_MAN and everyone else.

one thing tho. with the new messaging app, i assume this is galaxy mms? I cannot for any reason add from contacts when i compose a new message. Is it just me? In order to send a new sms or mms, i have to go to contacts first and select the envelope. If I go directly to messaging and select new message, then select TO address, there's no option to add from contact list...

If anyone is Interested... Highly Recommend Downloading AutoKiller from the Market & Set the Preset to Aggressive :)

This is one Program I truly found to work great at keep Memory Free :)

Also, Can anyone Comment on App's Auto starting them self's in this version?

Mine is Working Perfect, Via either Using the Phone Number Or there Name. Not sure why your having a Problem.

*Edit*
Okay just saw what you're talking about...
No, It's not going to work, as we're using the Galaxy Mms.apk. If you just hit the Messaging Icon you can select who you're sending a msg to by either choosing a Number / Name.

The Email Option Still works Perfect though.

when you try to send a message do you go to contacts first and select the envelope there? mine works that way only.

if i am from home and go to messaging -> new message I can type the phone number, but i cannot access my address book so that i can just choose a contact.

weird...

No it's not weird.
The Older Mms Does not support those Call Function's for Contact's. I might look into Port back the Stock Android Contact's, but this might be an Issue with the Phone App.. EI, iF i change the Contacts app, likely it will want the older Dialer too.

But, I'm kinda Lost why you can't Access your Contacts from the Messaging, as Mine is working perfect.

ahh...so now new messages are done through contacts? ok thanks. i thought it was just me.

btw, the red and blue arrows just appeared.....but nothing is syncing at the moment since i just did a master reboot. and if i click software updates nothing happens...

Before I get the latest BH_MAn rom has anyone done an update to the ODIN files so we don't have to go back to the T939UVIJ6 firmware.

I assume the files can be generated from the new system dump?
