Root {PORT} Behold 2 Stock ( No Twiz w/ Root & Busybox )

Thanks. And the only thing I need is Download here > BH-MAN-ODIN.tar.zip that odin file correct? I am guessing that I need to use the behold2.ops file also

Yeah. I can't remember if he included Odin in that file, but if he did, then yes that's all you need. If he didn't include Odin, there are tons of links on these forums to get the latest Odin. If you already have Odin, disregard this part. :)

Edit: Yes, you need that ops file.

Thanks. Yeah I have Odin I have been playing with the 1.6 port but I cant live without my vibe lol so Ill run this until he gtes it fixed it 1.6

to be honest i dont think it ever will be fixed, he said he doesn't use vibrate:( we never seen it fixed in galaxy 1.5, so why fix it all of the sudden now! I would love to have vibrate myself, but i just don't see it happening:(

I currently have got the wait and see approach on the 1.6 port, I'm hoping a lot of the kinks on it will be worked out on it, and I'm crossing my fingers that vibrate does get fixed a little down the line. Although vibrate *may* be a deal breaker for me with it since I pretty much keep my phone on vibrate 24/7 as I've got a job where it would be unpractical for me to have a loud audible DING! be heard when I get a text message every 30 seconds. I would love to hunt down the name of that app that BH_MAN suspects will fix the vibrate issue on the 1.6, but I just wish I had a little more info to go on.

...In the mean time I'm really digging this 1.5 w/no touch wiz ROM, plus it's got vibrate! :D
 
hello, I'm still new wih this and want to put this on my phone, I have odin and can unzip and everthing, but dont know wht to put where in the odin program. can someone tell me please! thanks

Under Select OPS, choose Behold2_partition.ops

Click PDA, choose Then Load the .md5 into PDA in Odin Flasher

Make sure phone is in download mode and click start

I don't know if its just me or if I'm going crazy, But Recently i got in trouble in school so i had to stay in a room all day long (Three days in a row). Thank goodness the teacher doesn't care much about what we do as long as we don't talk and I realized that when i use my phone and avoid using anything that would make my phone vibrate i would get at least 6-9 hours of constant use. Then one of the days i spent there i used it only to text and my phone died in 3 hours. Anyone else notice this?

Yeah I had the same problem but I did some google searching and found a fix. I'm running 64bit windows 7. You're going to have to right click on the odin app --> in the popup menu click on properties at the bottom --> click the compatability tab --> There should be an unchecked box labeled "run this program in compatability mode for:". Check this box and select windows xp service pack 3 in the drop down menu. No when you select the files in odin you won't get an error message and/or the program crashing.
 
Hey BH_MAN,

Quick question to do the battery fix, do I have to do a factory reset first? I've been using your rom for a couple days not after doing the odin update to stock t-mobile rom. I ran my phone down until it turned off, but I charged it when I turned it back on. Can I stil run it down until it shuts off then charge it while off without doing a factory reset? I make it a whole day with out charging with moderate to heavy use but from the sounds of it the trick would make it better considering by the end of the day I'm below 30% most of the time.
 
I read about the cpu speed so I thought I would check out the speed on this rom. I downloaded the widget only to find out it's already set up at 528 is everyones set up to run at top speed right off the bat?

i have noticed a issue with force closing of wallpaper when trying to change it in settings it works fine if u use the wallpaper from the homescreen by holding? is this normal i noticed a few people have had the problem....how do i get pics i dl into those wallpapers? because it doesnt work even if you dl the pic from the web browser on the phone and open it and try to save it as a wallpaper, force close....

I dont know if this is related but when in usb mode and i mount , when i try to copy something onto it , the phone comes out of usb mode and locks in mid copy....
 
Been using this for a week now! No issues, everything works smooth and fast! Took some time to figure out how to get my usb drivers to work and figure out odin etc, but it was totally worth the trouble!

I think those are two seperate issues. I guess i never tried to change my wall papers from settings menu but did get a fc. If I long press the screen I have no problems using photos or wallpaper gallery home or advance launcher. as far as downloading do you have usb debugging on and are you in mass storage? Maybe try a different usb port on your computer.

Try downloading "Wallpaper Set Save" from the app store (free). It works great for me with this rom. Hope this helps.
 
ok its hard to describe this issue, but if i try to copy anything on the mounted sd card, during the copy the phone looses connection to the computer and it cant copy, the cable came with the phone i dont think its bad.... ive tried different usb ports and im still not having luck....

i am on windows 7 so i dont know if that has something to do with it? the phone did the format of the sd stick i know its supposed to formatted in fat and not ntfs? is there anything else i need to know?

can i not copy the files into the folders? and i can only copy onto the root of the card? i just want a few mp3s on there....
 
is anyone else having this issue after doing the odin flash for galaxy 1.5 with no twiz, the phone sometimes gets stuck in sleep mode and wont turn back on till you pull the battery is this just a bug with this? or is it the phone.....

the phone works fine otherwise, just it will do this go to sleep and none of the buttons work and have to pull the battery to turn it back on its a odd problem.....
