Root {PORT} Behold 2 Stock ( No Twiz w/ Root & Busybox )

I have the Factory Android Dialer working and Contacts.
Would everyone like me to Update the Rom using these File and Remove the Behold2 Dialer? In doing So we can Remove Visual Voice Mail as well, as the Behold 2 Dailer is Dependent on this app for checking our Voice Mail. Which, will no longer be needed if we go to the Factory Dialer.

Let Me know with a Count of Vote's :)

Here Is the Factory TwMms.apk File for the Behold 2.
I've deodex it for everyone to make installing it easier.

Original TwMms TwMms.apk
Place onto your sdcard ( Un-mount )
then do the Following

thanx BH_MAN for posting this! quick question though, do i need to remove the galaxymms before instaling the twiz one?

how can we access visual voicemail if it's removed would we just redownload it from the market or download a third party one?

I would prefer the Android Dialer. On my G1 with CyanogenMod, there was a modified version of the Contacts app by Wysie (I think?) that was pretty cool. It might be worth looking into.

If you can provide a Link, I'll look into it.

Okay, Just an Update regarding the Android Dialer.. Even though it's working, it force Closes on an Incoming call... So I'll have to looking into this later tonight.

I'm going to have to smali it & see if I can find the error.

yes i know holding down 1 dials voicemail:), but i want visual voicemail. is that built into the galaxy dialer or what? holding down 1 on the original opens the visual voicemail app. how can that be opened if its removed. thanx for clarifying

Or you could set-up google voice, and get free transcription + visual voicemail.

I do have an invite or 2 left (plus plenty of google wave invites) if anyone needs them. Just send me a PM with your email, please don't spam the threads.

Okay, so I found the Problem with it FC on incoming calls...
It's in the Frameworks, so Later tonight I'll try and make time & smali it, & pull the Parts from the Galaxy rom to add in it & see if it solves that issue with it.

hey BH_MAN, where do i go to turn off(or if its not possible) to turn off vibration when scrolling through contact list. Also how do i select custom ringtone? Did not see that option when scrolling through the ringtones list. Thanks.

Ps. My battery icon still shows full 5 bars when its only have 60% battery life left. (Normal??)
P.p.s. Is there anyway for you to reupload the original Bh2 stock wallpapers? The water splash that comes with the updated rom is stretched out.
P.p.p.s. I understand that the cube button was remap to search, however I moved it to the 4th page of the homescreen and now that cube button doesnt do anything. (Maybe remap to Mp3?)

Lol okie I think I bother you enough with those. =P

By doing this will anything be voided? such as restrictions from future (If any) updates of the original UI thingy or the 1year standard warranty that the phone comes with when u upgrade/buy it.

i was never able to figure out how to get the VV and transcription to work for my phone lol

Sorry, quick question. Do we need to install the wifi fix if we are using your updated rom? Or was that for the old one?

Not sure when you tried last, but they made it super easy to set up your google voice account as your voicemail on your cell phone. That and just grab the google voice app from the market. The transcription isn't perfect, but as good as any other free service. I used to use youmail, but they took away the free transcription service.

BH_MAN, Thanks a million! I did exactly what you said and it worked. I am very thankful for your help! I hope a beer can help show my appreciation.
