Root {PORT} Behold 2 Stock ( No Twiz w/ Root & Busybox )

Ok it just froze up on me again. I think. i know the problem. When i pull the battery and reboot, there will always be a force close for advance launcher. This leads me to a hunch that some files are corrupt. Ill have to reflash the phone when i get home to see if it fixes it. It was working perfect the past couple days and today it just won't stay on.
 
With this rom it is the phone I wanted, not the phone I bought. This is awesome, my phone sat all weekend with bluetooth, wifi and gps. Only now does it need charged.

Awesome freaking awesome!!!!

Cant wait to see all the good stuff coming.

Nope.....

I had the Same Problem & reboots & battery Pull's don't help.
I had this issue last night when I was downloading app's from the Market.
So I did a factory wipe but that still didn't solve it.

Only until I did a Factory restore, then upgraded to my Rom did this Fix it.
I think what is happening the cache is getting left behind when going from the other updates, then to this Odin.

Currently I'm working on the 3G issue, as it's not TMO, it's the Behold 2 & a flawed Location.apk.

P.s.
Please Don't Bother other Dev. regarding Bugs. I credit them on the First page as I used alot of the known Hacks they had used, but they didn't work on the Rom & I feel they shouldn't have to help with Bug's & Problems if they don't want to.

If there is a Bug, Please Don't PM anyone! Post in thread so everyone can see / Help with the issue if they can so nothing gets Missed.

I did a regular Odin reflash last night when I got home. All is normal again so far so we'll have to see. If it happens again, I will do the factory restore first as you mentioned then re-Odin.

If it becomes an issue, I'll re-package the odin with a Cache file that wipe cache as well.
 
i have been using the latest rom for a few days now (odin install style) and I came from stock Touchwiz rooted with try3, and I have not yet had any reboots or freezing!
 
im loving this ROM! thanks BH_MAN, only wish the galaxymms would work correctly with it, but i know you put a lot of effort into it and it shows. thanks for everything!
 
The built in T-Mobile visual voicemail app on this new release gives me a communication error message when I try setting up my voicemail. I tried installing the newest version from the app market, but when installing it gives the error that the app is not signed properly. I tried uninstalling it, and it says it can't be uninstalled.

Anyone else have this problem?

ok so I picked up my phone and it was completely unresponsive, it was shut down and it would not turn on, so I had to pull the battery to start it back up, so I think I'm going to install this rom from a fresh odin install first, then odin your rom. Before I do that I think im gonna take a look at the 1.6 galaxy port!

I had this problem. I used titanium backup to uninstall visual voicemail (only way I could get It to uninstall) and then installed from the market. It worked for me.
 
Still having issues with wifi, after leaving range of my hidden wifi network and coming back my phone no longer can find the network without readding it.

My thoughts exactly. I was browsing for home and keyboard replacements on Google when I stumbled across this thread. Never thought the process would be so streamlined and pain-free. I have now fallen back in love with this phone. :D

Afternoon, I'm new to the Android world and would love to download the BH-MAN-ODIN.tar.zip file, but for some reason my firewall is blocking the site to download, is there another location to download the zip files?

I tried both of those options, not sure if it's my machine or router because it's doing the same thing on both my machines.
 
oh well you dont want that rom anymore anyways, because BH_MAN is working on 1.6, and it should be out today. 1.6 is far better than anything that has bee made so far for the Behold 2!
 
I'm having a problem running Odin I hope you guys can help me out with

I'm running Windows 7 32-bit and when I load up Odin (v. 4.03) I get a message: IMAGE PATH "and some Chinese characters". Not only when I load Odin up but also when I attempt anything, such as selecting an OPS/PDA file. It seems I can follow through with any action but I don't want to risk it. Anyone know what's going on?
 
I just want to say that I love the rom so much better than stock but I wanted to bring up a couple of issues:

After I installed the ROM last night, I keep getting a force close error when I use the Advanced Launcher. Specifically, I get the error when I try to put shortcuts/widgets on the same frame as what I assume is Busybox.

Also, When I drained the battery completely to reset the batterystats, I got force close errors on all my widgets.

Another issue that I've had is with emails. It is probably the fact that I haven't been in areas that have gotten great reception, but the emails are taking about 5-10 times longer to load than when they were on the stock rom.
