Root port request from samsung intercept boot anima.

Is anyone interested in having the "mandroid" boot animation
on this phone. Its a guy on his phone that becomes a robot
through his phone. Had it on my intercept.

Second choice would be "crushed apple" where its
a golden appl that burst xplodes into glitter. Also
Sported that on my intercept.

Also is it possible to port over ubuntdroid version 4.5 or 6.
i know its been discontinued but it was good. And can we expect to
see a froyo rom with call recording, tether and toggle widgets?

Sorry for being "that person" that asks one million questions in
one post. I know its largely based on demand. Thanks for considering

Do you know where one could find the animations? It isn't hard to convert some animations from one phone to another. The resolution needs to be right.

Tether would need kernel support. I think the kernel that b_random made has that feature. Look for b-ROM. Call recording would need kernel support, don't know if anybody has it on FroYo. I know it can be done.
And on the toggle widgets. Do you mean like in CM7? That would take modifying the Android Framework.

I know I didn't help much, but I might be able to help in the animations at least.

Cant find boot animation zip but once i resize the images im close to done. I think the next step would be to merge the text file and parts into a uncompressed bootanimation zip. Its a 7 minute vid so im trying to do it right the first go around.

Do u know if astro file manager gives the same access as root explorer? I am gonna invest in it soon...its a clear favorite. If that doesnt work ill try adb.

But if i am making any glaring errors pls let me know

Take one of my non flashable animations, don't extract it but replace the "part0 & part1 folders" with your own (that way you know its compressed the correct way and the txt files are formatted correctly). Feel free to adjust the txt file however u want to according to your animation.

Oh awesome and thanks! I was never able to do it correctly but thankfully was
Able to download the program. Im pretty happy with it. Its mj turning into a panther then someone from sdx mandroid robot typing on a android phone. I tried to upload but the apps stall and make my phone hot which is so weird so i cant upload but its rough. .
Very beginnerishn..for example mj rip graphix is very fuzzy but that with godsmack i stand alone makes for an awesome boot. I see there is another video boot....
