Root PORT : Saber Pac Rom 4.4.4 LG L90

Been running w/o random reboots. Calls and data are working fine. Everything so far is working. Didn't try Bluetooth tethering or NFC.

Reboot issues should clear up if you
  • Flash the rom
  • Wipe dalvik
  • Flash gapps
  • Wipe dalvik
  • Flash APN
  • Reboot to system
For anyone having keyboard isues, here is the Xperia keyboard from curtis1973. I just stripped the other apps out of the bundle zip he had and repacked it.

Curtis how does this Pac Rom compare to the ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps ROM? Reason I ask is looking for a daily driver for wife's LG Volt that just works flawlessly and reliably in every day use so I dont get requests for help all the time. Tried BlissPop and didnt care from some of the broken things in it.Does this ROM do any better than ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps ? Im not a gamer and always use black for wallpaper so dont really care about themes stuff that much. Does this ROM offer any battery improvment or better features than ZV6 V.5 Stock Mod - Debloated - No Gapps ?

Oh and she's on RingPlus would I need an APN fix if so which one?
Stock Mod = Modified Stock
PAC = Paranoid Android, AOKP, CyanogenMod.
3 flavors in one.

Im running it now. Have had no force closes of keyboard or anything else really. All buttons work fine. Be sure to wipe at least three times in recovery to get a fresh wipe. Leaves no remnants behind..also no dirty flashing. I know that will cause oddities.

I put app bar near upper left of screen with only about a 5 dpi to 8 dpi range to open it. I do not allow it to extend the entire length of the screen. That causes weirdness on any device when you accidentally trigger it,

With ringplus I think you may need an apn fix but I wont be 100% on that because your apn may already be in the roms built in apns. As for a comparison. Honestly this is faster, seems to consume less memory and so far pretty stable. Give it a try. Be sure to test out sms,mms and data services first to be sure its going to function well with ringplus. I have no issues in trying to resolve issues with ringplus apns if we can get a reliable apn set. But never dealt with them as a carrier and dont know where to look to get there settings.

I'll figure something out. But a heads up (at least on mine with xposed 2.6.1)

Here is the Intro ringtone for pacman. Extract and copy it to /system/media/audio/ringtones and reboot. I'll be back about the Xposed as soon as I reboot my phone.

Success! Thanks for the detail about the right Xposed app. Everything works. Here is a screenshot for the result of adding that ringtone.

Not just you, it's on mine as well.

its just a guess. nothing to back it up really. but my guess is lg acquired cheaper camera components in later models. these are the ones that have green tint issues that are not fixed by software changes. if it were possible...hit the carrier up and tell them you think your camera is messed up..green tint on everything. if they have any older refurb models in stock you could get a resolved one. roll of the dice though.

not sure if it helps but when you look at x5 in source files comepare to whoshot kernel source and make sure that those files are in his tree. this is a port built on cm11 i believe so any issues in his kernel are gonna come over
