Root Porting ClockWorkMod to the Kyocera Rise

If this device's bootloader is unlocked could somebody flash this device to use a different CDMA phone service such as Page Plus? If that is possible I could see why Virgin Mobile would not want the bootloader to be unlocked.
 
I liked his comment but no thanks is issued till i see results that should apply for anyone reading his comment but i have high hopes he isnt just lieing hes been a member since dec last year havent followed any of his previous post but will now
 
Adb insecure,

was wondering if this mighthlp with some risk takeing and tweaking toying around figureing things out about the insides of our phone says may or maynot work on s-on devices but too be able too mount and pull and write too partions & it not actually screw you over in a bootloop because changes dont stick might be a good way for the android pros here to figure something out or learn something that could help us in achieveing our goal, price is set at 1 beer he says

curious but dont want curioisty too kill the cat either but wonderinging what would happen useing a rooted device like ours with adb insecure and running one of these commands such as fastboot download mode reboot bootloader any guesses?

Hey everyone!!! Sorry for getting of task but i was being a idiot and accidentally deleted camera.apk from my apps folder on my rise....can someone please post the camera.apk file that has a rise please...remember its in system/apps thankyou!!!

But the bootloader won't boot the custom recovery. Right?
 
Dunno, probably new territory for android pros getting a custum recovery on a phone without being able to use fastboot, reboot bootloader commands,its new touch recovery flashing inside a powered on phone a recovery without phone off or as far as i can tell wouldnt matter if the orginal bootloader was locked,but idk i posted it here for the android pros opion because its a work around fastnboot that we dont have access too but if they thought it was helpful theyd say iam not a android pro just a idealist that will try & help with triggering anything that may be useful to them so please if your not a android pro dont flash anything i may post ive said this in previous post but ill say it again incase people dont start at the begining of this thread
 
If I understood you correctly, you referred to flashing images with a phone pwoered on. I've flashed recoveries AND bootlaoders from CWM, in-OS via terminal, and other methods. Used CWM to install TWRP over itself in one case. Used terminal to put CWM on the recovery partition in another. Etc etc.
