Root Possible 4.1 update already here?

Hey guys just found this here and searched all over for a related thread, but couldn't find anything...

I found this Site, but I've never heard of it. Claims to have instructions on how to flash 4.1 to our Motions, however I was under the impression that we didn't have a custom recovery...

If this article speaks the truth then we all need to get on the jelly bean Wagon JB on metro sounds too good to be true!

im guessing trash.

as if it wasn't already fake and shady enough

where do they even list the lol "jellybean 4.1 update.zip" you supposidly downloaded earlier at "here are the links" with out any links

also.. every single tutorial they have on android.info is generic and is the exact same word for word except different model numbers.

infact i already think there is a thread in here about this same thing that was closed so people wouldn't try something so stupid and just brick their phone for nothing

You will have to download 4.1 Jelly Bean LG myTouch Q LGC800VL port. You will also have to root"

I am 9999999999.9999% (if my calculations are correct) certain that it is a fake website. That is is actually the second of those website's to be shared here. Like the website proclaims to be able to update any phone to Jellybean... yeah.. in with the same procedures. It's very unlikely at this point in time that LG would even be planning that. Also, the site seems a little odd, doesn't host any of the files needed and there are no links, not sure what the purpose is, whether to scam, spam, of phish. I have no idea. but your best bet is to not delve deeper into that site. Trust me. Also, if there will be an Update, either LG or Metro will post it on their sites, that's what they've done in the past.

Keep in mind things aren't always as they seem. ;)

Ha yeah I figured I'd ask around but I was on my motion when i read it so I thought maybe I just can't see the links or something... I knew it was fake! Damn trolls

I think that link should be removed from this thread so others who are desperate don't try this...;)
This is a instant brick

Don't update to jellybean unless you don't want flash player anymore. Adobe flash doesn't work on any jellybean device.

I work at hh Gregg and not one of our tablets running jb have working adobe flash. The Asus tablet even says when you go to upgrade it to jb from ics that once updated to jb you lose both wifi direct and adobe flash player.

Also it doesn't work on my Kindle fire running jb or my evo running jb... I've read all over the Web that flash will not work on jb. Haven't seen a device yet that it works on.
