Root Possible fix for CM7 & ICS Hardware Acceleration? ;D

The drivers caused tons of issues on CM9, but I believe that to be an issue with CM9's support of the drivers. It's been awhile since I've messed with any of it, and I will hopefully be getting a new Admire tomorrow (blew the old one up, had it constantly at 1GHz, and the battery exploded overnight), so I'll probably get back to ****ing about with it.

Jesus up to 1GHz the phone had to be flyin

Alright, well, I tried pushing the files seperately one by one, and chmod'ing them to 7777 as soon as I transfered them/ then tried rebooting, and they're giving me trouble, there's lag all over the place, the camera still has the same white flash on the screen, and then the HQ Youtube works for a little, then freezes. Then again... I might be doing something wrong.

chmod 0644.
They don't need to be executable.
Would also be a good idea to clear dalvik.

Good Luck!

Havent tried. Im running my ROM, and am on Cricket network, so I can't use req's kernel and cm7 (kernel breaks wifi/data/bt) without compiling req's changes to our kernel. =\

samsung has em, snap snap ;)

yea yea yea. :p Me so ray-zee..

You've managed to get me to unpack some of my last boxes from when my Wife and I moved in May. haha.
Boxes and boxes of computers and parts -- amongst which has been my development box. I've been using cgywin and vbox on my main since I moved -- but had no toolchains, sdk or any repos downloaded.
Blew the dust off my nix box about and hour ago, and am compiling the stock cricket kernel as we speak, to work out the cobwebs. Lets hope she boots. :)
