I figured I'd post this thread so that others can post when the got theirs. I'm waiting patiently for mine. SHould be here by lunchtime when Fedex usually delivers.

Strange, my seems to have shipped via USPS. I'm in the Atlanta area and it left Memphis at 18:31 last night. I'm not sure I'll see it today (grrrrr).

You will probably get it today. USPS and Fed Ex do a lot of "joint" shipping. It may still arrive by Fed Ex I have seen this happen before. On another Note (see what I did there? :rolleyes:) If it does come via USPS and you don't get it today the USPS does Saturday deliveries where as with standard overnight from Fed Ex you would not see it until Monday.
 
Mine is at my local Fedex facility at 7:08am but still doesn't say out for delivery, have seen that before where it took a bit to say out for delivery. Still shows an estimated Feb 17 delivery.

Mine now says it's "on fedex truck for delivery".

I do alot with Fedex and this is not unusual. Fedex has a contract with USPS. Fedex Overnight never fails to arrive on time. So it will still arrive today.

Mine is out for delivery and should be here anytime.
My son and daughter are now making their best argument for my current phone...a Galaxy Skyrocket.....which is providing me with some good morning entertainment as I wait!
 
Fedex guy just dropped it off at the front door. Never rang or asked for signature.
I'll get pics posted when I get it opened and running.
 
Yup its here! My wife's 4S looks a little intimidated by it...

No they don't include an SD card, as that has been the case with Samsung starting with the Skyrocket. Samsung says it allows them to put the saved $ toward other parts of the phone (sure they do) since most people buy a bigger SD card anyway.
Newegg and Amazon are the best places to buy. I avoid eBay with the high risk of counterfeit cards.

On a different Note...pardon the pun!....this phone was totally worth the wait! I like the new Tapatalk sig :)

Got mine about 2 pm here in North Jersey! God, it's big! Anyone know if I can just switch sims from my Infuse? Right now it's charging up and on hold.:)
 
The phone sure is big. I currently have an Iphone4 and am gonna spend the weekend deciding whether to keep the Note, or ship it back.

Got to learn my way around the interface first!

Definitely not as smooth as iPhone when it comes to scrolling between pages, but browsing the web is so much better on the note.

I guess we'll see. Have fun all.
 
Got mine just before noon. Been tinkering. I have the white model but I may exchange it for the blue/black/cobalt blue thingy.

Touch Wiz 4 is a little better but I am missing some features from ICS. I have heard we will be getting ICS by or sometime in March. The slide to dismiss feature will be nice to have back.

Overall I LOVE IT! They still have not reapplied the charge to my debit card that fell of on the 14th waiting to ship. Did I beat the man???? :o
 
I'm extremely disappointed so far, maybe it just my device but this thing is excruciatingly slow.
I've been looking so forward to the Note even ported from Verizon iPhone 4s (which I love Verizon to death)
I previously had an Evo, Fascinate and Droid X so I've used android before.
I'm supposed to be on 4G but the speed test (when it would actually run) is 300k-1.5M. Which is a lot slower than my iPhone 4s. Even on wifi everything slow (web browsing, app download). Its terrible.
Plus the back seems to get a tad warm.

This will be the quickest phone return ever!
 
Quick example. I downloaded the app Zinio (magazine app) from Android took about 5 minutes to download and install.
While waiting I pulled out my iPhone 4s that is on the same wifi network. Took less than a min.
Fire up both apps, the Zinio on android is loading for about 3 minutes before it tells me cannot connect to zinio server.
Iphone app connected immediately!

Wow! Maybe you got a dud. I ran a browser test side by side with my iPhone 4 and they were about even. The iPhone 4 loaded pages slightly faster, but on the Note they lok better. I ran speediest and got 18mg download, the same as my iPhone. We have xfinity internet. No heat from the back yet.
 
One thing I notice after using an iPhone for a few years I keep wanting to grab the phone at the bottom pushing one of the four buttons by accident.
