I know exactly what your talking about and it drives me nuts. I don't have seperate screens for landscape but my images resize all the time. I haven't noticed if it has to do with orientation changes though. I'm gonna have to look for that.

If I enable orientation change (in SH's preferences) and go to each portrait screen, turn the DROID on it's side then back again, the icons "right themselves".

If you guys can all please log bug reports when this happens, with exactly what you did before it happened. :)

Why did you uninstall it? I'm still on the fence with the FC's and bugs that still occur.
 
Sounds like SweeterHome support is falling apart. We all put a lot of hard work into this app but I think lack of performance will ultimately cause it to fail.

Also SPB is posing a real threat. Things are changing rapidly right now.

i disagree. there have been many many bug fixes, and as far as performance (speed) this is WAY faster than any other homescreen replacement i have used. This is not for the average user true, but hardcore users should prefer this over the other replacements

I hope it doesn't. After spending a good amount of time on this, I've finally created a theme that I really like. Granted it does take a bit to get use to, but once you do, I can't think of a better home replacement. The issues I have are with FC's when editing. They are not as frequent with the new 727 build but they still occur.

Not to sound like a noob, but what is SPB?

What the heck are you talking about? Don't upload it if you don't want to make your custom artwork available?

Eventually you'll be able to lock down themes so others can't re-edit etc etc. But um, it's in Beta right now so stuff is still being built!

And how much work have you put in compared to the developer I wonder.

TAT will be fine for people who like flashy bells and whistles, but I like the functionality & customization from SH2. Just gotta be patient and wait for stability to improve...

Really? Your uploading a theme to them for the general population to enjoy and you don't expect the icons to go with it. Thats like selling a car but taking the tires off it first. What the hell good is it to the next guy with out the tires. If you don't want your personal artwork being uploaded then just use icons downloaded from the web or don't upload the theme. Its a shame tho bc your dr pepper theme looked pretty good.
 
Well I personally really love Sweeter Home. I finally have a landscape and a portrait view for all 5 screens and each screen is set up just how I want it.:)
They aren't fancy and pretty like messenger13's themes are. His are the best! But they really fit my needs perfectly. Unless someone comes along and really blows Sweeter Home out of the water (and that will take some doing) I plan to stick with it.
Sorry to hear messenger13 is throwing in the towel. Been a huge help to me whenever I got stuck and I know others have benefited from his knowledge as well.:(

Hello All. I'm a recent Winmo transplant and was very excited to find Sweeter Home.

Below is my second attempt at a SH theme. My goal was to have everything readily accessible from the main screen. This was built on a Sprint Hero at 320x480. For more information and widget skin downloads, visit http://signals23.blogspot.com/.
