Post your 4G(lol) data speeds (Atrix only)

So Ive finally figured out how to send the little speed test pics. For those who may not know like I did, when viewing the result, click the mail button in the top right button. In the email there will be link to a png of the pic. Here are my best results for the HSPA and wifi:p
So that's how these people have been doing it. Man that's a lot of work :/

The networks have improved I just recently got 10.2 mbps down 1.9 mbps up in the DC area. I usually avg around 5-8 mbps down

I just bought this phone and I am inside a building away from the window so I am hoping it will get at least better outside.

Charlotte, nc
FCC speed test
Down: 1256 kbps
Up: 589kbps
latency: 316ms
Jitter: 41ms

0.91Mbps down
1.07Mbps up
ping 155ms

AT&T Folsom, CA - 3G as indicated by : Settings > About Phone > Status

hmm, I'm seeing a bunch of consistent 1-5Mbps downloads. Maybe I need to try again.

10.2mbps down? That's not bad at all. We're not seeing anything like that here but that leaves me looking forward to the LTE roll out. Hopefully the increased backbone will bring us all better throughput.

Not sure if it's the gingerbread update, time of day, or if they've updated the tower by my house, but I just got 5.94Mbps down and 1.51Mbps up.

Four Runs in a row:

Ping: 86 108 110 88
Down: 3.67 3.54 3.97 4.62
Up: 2.17 2.41 2.36 2.12

Im on the Eastern Shore of VA - so, for being in an extrememly rural area I cant really complain.

I ran 4 tests

Ping - 278, 317, 4, 5
DL - 5, 5.4, 2, 4.3
UL - 1.1, .9, 1.1, .8

Baton Rouge, LA

With my iPhone 4 I've never gotten DL speeds above 4mbps so seeing 3 of my 4 tests above 4 is pretty good.

in central new jersey im getting anywhere from....

1.5mbps - 6.5mbps download
.6mbps - 2.5mbps upload

here is my latest test just now:
5.64mbps download
1.48mbps upload

its not exactly 4g all the way...but better than 3g for sure

My girlfriend has a verizon iphone4, and it cant reach those speeds at all

Really surprised as the placement of the phone itself made a huge difference.

Data speed tests are a red herring. What you should be looking for are real world tests like browsing speeds (one example). Non realistic speed tests would matter more if you are downloading 5gb files in 1 shot using your data plan instead of a free wifi source. The atrix has scored quite well in real world testing. "Pure" 4g is still also a battery pig to this day.

revival :D

I don't know what happened, but somehow I'm getting:

Network: AT&T, 5/5bars signal
as reported by phone status:
Signal Strength: -54dBm, ecno: -3, rat: 3g
Mobile network type: HSPA
DL: 8.30Mbps
UL: 1.07Mbps
Server: San Francisco, CA
Actual: Folsom, CA

*edit* I'm not sure why the photo Speedtest emails me shows a difference :? but my the app on my phone shows 8.30/1.07. Not sure why image is 8.50/1.09. And what ~1400mi means, i have no clue :? also time/date is screwy too. It was 1830HR on 9/13/2012 when I ran the test.

Supposedly, I heard Sacramento, CA area is getting 4G LTE update. I know that Atrix "4G" is not LTE capable, but maybe the small shift of some users to the 4G LTE network is opening up the bandwidth on the 3G HSPA+?

I'm all confused with the different updates to 3G and 4G :P; lots of in-between stuff between 3G and 4G.
