The thing is though, a live wallpaper or widget only uses CPU/battery while youre on the homescreen (launcher) and thats an app you use a lot but dont spend much time in so IMO its worth while making it look beautiful. Unless you sit staring at your homescreen, it isnt using a high percentage of your battery :thumbup:

all I know is when I use it, my battery seems to drop much quicker than normal..

Yeah it will when youre looking at it. Try using the Micro Cpu Monitor app while running a live wallpaper and youll see that it really does push your CPU/battery but leave the launcher and go into Settings or something and youll see your cores calming back down to sleeps :beer:

well just as i get a hold of UCCW on my gNex it has to go by by and the new "referb" GS3 will be here tomorrow so time to start from scratch again

Its called "hawken live wallpaper" on the play store. Theres some little particle effects and it does some exploding thing when you touch something (can be annoying at first). I have a feeling its a tegra only wallpaper though.
