Post your Android Desktop

Not my desktop - but something I'm hoping to get coded.

Things I'm not sure about is the "No New" on the mail, the "139 texts" and the "Play/Pause" on the Music. As well as the orange hover on the Internet Explorer. Anyone know of any links to tutorials that I could get these options from?

This is really nice. I hope you can get it.

one of the best hands down. very creative. one thing i never got was how do you substitute other images for icons? i've been trying to do that for a while.
it's simple for launchers on the dock below. but i want to be able to do it for widgets and apps not just the icons on the bottom dock.

Thanks UniqueNate.
All you need is to use Desktop Visualizer and use a specific PNG file for your icons.
Hoewever, I preferred in this case to design a wallpaper with everything on it and placed transparent icons to some regularly used Apps on the home screen.
I placed a Widget at the top and left some space for other icons so when moving to the other screens I have room to add widgets at the top and some icons where my Time and Batt widgets are on the Home Screen.

Works well actually.

If you were to make this, would it be your one and only home screen?

update:
now that i looked at it again it's two different screens. i wasn't paying attention to the status bar.
it would be neat to have all that on one screen. then again it could be cramped. i would like to know how to do this. it looks clean. i wouldn't make it the same way but learning how would be cool.

Thanks UniqueNate.

So your icons are placed over the transparent widgets? for example your mail icon is place on a transparent mail widget so when you touch on it it opens the mail app?

I also like the other one that the guy did with the layout that resembles blur a little and wp7. i think it's above this post. anyway of starting something like that?

The mail icon is part of the wallpaper image.
A transparent Desktop Visualizer Widget is placed over the mail icon image which as ststed above is part of the background wallpaper.

Thanks to all who enjoyed this WM7 theme which I tried for my own interest and expected to discard the moment it was loaded :D but it still remains on my Leo :) ...

this is the final 'minor' change to this particular concept ;)
ever sine I saw this very soft background image posted by UltraLinx, I knew it had a place behind the WM7 theme which has to date enjoyed a favourable response.

The colour behind the Tajm clock s part of the wallpaper and looks great, and is not one of the colour options currently available wth Tajm!

So here it is with images attached in Zip file (960 X 800).
