Yes, his 1200LV D 012which voodoo kernel are you using.. dirrks?
Yes, his 1200LV D 012
Wow nice score. I have the feeling the SV will score slightly higher than the LV and you seem to confirm this. Admittedly, this is the one kernel I didnt try since I found the 1200LV but I probably owe it to myself to try this one too since I literally tried every single other one. I know this is the Quadrant section but how is your LinPack with the 1200SV?Dirrks' 1.2ghz voodoo D012 SV.. the LV did not work for me..
I was scoring under 2400 and couldn't figure out what the deal was as I had been scoring 2400+ earlier. Realized that I had turned off setCPU. All is well now.
Anyone best 2428 yet? I know these scores are relatively irrelevant, but it's still something fun to take a look at that gives you a general idea of how you're running.
Yeah thats the highest score we've scene around here. So it kinda sounds like you have both the OCLF and voodoo running at the same time? Weird. Yeah 2K is about the limit for voodoo with 1200Mhz. With OCLF I was getting almost 2300 @ 1Ghz so it would make sense at 1.2Ghz to be closer to 2500 as you are. I never did test OCLF with 1.2Ghz myself though there are threads of others doing it and scoring like 2500-2600 I think.I had the old lagfix installed, couldn't figure out how to get rid of it without crashing the phone. No, the OCLF app won't do it for some reason. It says the OCLF remover is "unavailable."
Dirk mentioned that his kernel should work with the old lagfix still installed, so I gave it a shot. Voodoo flashed successfully, and this thing is blazing!
Any thoughts? Should I change something? I never scored higher than about a 2200 with just the old lagfix.
Yeah...kinda sorta... you're kinda venturing into uncharted territory.I wasn't very sure if it would play nice either, but apparently it is. Like you said, I'm sure it's just a boosted result from the ext2.
The Linpack is somewhere around 9.5, which is just fine. The only reason I left the ext2 on is because I couldn't easily remove it without risking a crash (for whatever reason), and I'm not going to bother with removing it because it seems to still be working.
Who'd'a thought?
Thanks again for all the help along the way guys.
I've been running Dirrk's 1200LV and its quite stable with nice little battery life boost. It seems 75% of people can run it virtually no hitches. But about 1 in 4 have some kinda issue with it. I'd try it and if it does work go to either 1100V or 1200SVYeah, it's extremely puzzling lol. I might flash an o/c kernel.
