How did you change your battery theme with a stock rom?
 
Radio: 2.15
Rom: Third Wave
Kernel: King#3

This runs great but i have noticed an issue with some lag during typing text messages once in a while, not sure what is causing it though.

Set CPU: 422-1113 on demand

This is basically the first Rom, radio and kernel I've used. After flashing the radio and frankenrom I tried a hydra kernel first, but the GPS was broken so I nandroid'd back and tried kings #3. Everything seems functional so far. After flashing frankenrom and radio (unsure what kernel I was on though) I pushed out a 1499 score in quadrant! The bad news is I absolutely cannot recreate that. Now I get 1200-1300 average. Usually very close to what the nexus one w/2.2 is rated at.

I had some possible stability issues while clocked at 1.19 in performance mode, the home screen seemed to flicker a bit. Well maybe flicker isn't the best word, it just seemed to blink off and right back on in a split second. This happened maybe 3 or 4 times in a 5 minute window. Stepped it down to 1113 max and haven't seen it since.

update: I just had one spontaneous reboot, it was when I clicked Google Voice to reply to a text.

Using SetCPU for lowering CPU speed while screen is off.

Quadrant score of 1229

So far very stable and fast!

SetCpu: On Demand 245-1149, screen off profile for 460MHz

I've been running this set up for weeks and it's rock solid. No random reboots, great battery life and no bugs that I know of.

I ran quadrant and got 1409, then I changed absolutely nothing and now I can't get above 1200. Any clue why?
 
My fist attempt at a hydra kernel was a fail. I'm currently trying the second version. It seems like people are having really good results with SkyRaider Vanilla, King's # 3, and 2.15 but I thought king #3 was for sense roms only? Thats why i went with hydra.

EDIT: fourth random reboot from hydra, time for another plan.

Yes, I am figuring that out. I think setcpu gives a lot more versatility, thus better change of finding a stable setup. So far I'm liking it alot, and the profiles are great. I started at 1.19 GHz and I'm going to work my way down until I find a stable setting.

The big thing for me was the temp. I kept my temp around 69F when doing test.
 
Radio is 2.05.00.06.11
Skyraider 3.0 Sense Rom with Rule the Air Theme
Setcpu at 1036 with Screen off Profile at 464 and Battery at 634

I'm gonna wait for the OTA to hit and see what Rom drops then I'll upgrade to the latest Radio.
 
anyone else running the 8/27 ota with a different kernel? I just loaded it but have yet to jump on the kernel bandwagon.....was thinking about one of the kings kernels, but I am not savy enough yet to be a ginea pig...

I might have to try out the Kings Kernels since so many people seem to be having such good results with them.
