Anything involving editing of the framework-res.apk (notification bar,etc.) requires rooting and flashing your phone/metamorph.

Awesome, I love it! I'm headed to DC and started a screen with travel goodies including Flight View, a folder with my videos for the plane ride (Futurama and Up!, HD) and a DC Metro scheduler/mapper.

If I get it totally together, I'll post it

lol i use bettercut and make the icons all black, same as the background. I figure all black= same as screen being off.
