you cant change icons in adw, its the only reason i use launcher pro instead. well if youre talking about the dock icons that is, im pretty sure you cant change any icons though
Well if that's the case whee can I get some goods icons for launcher pro in color

you can download icon packs from the market i think or you can go to the website and download different docks and stuff.

You're able to change dock icon's in ADW, it's just not as straightforward as LauncherPro.
Use BetterCut or Desktop Visualizer, and make a shortcut on your homescreen with the icon you want in the dock. After that, drag said shortcut to the dock, in the part that you want it to be at, and drop it there. It'll set the dock shortcut to that, along with the custom icon.

the Captivate is still relatively new, themers are really just starting to dig into this device now to start pumping out metamorphs and themes. not to mention the fact that a lot of people are just using the same widget/icons/layout as other people.

What is google voice? how do i get it?
The icons are the official 2.2 icons that somebody extracted and put onto deviantart. I had to go into photoshop to cut out each individual icon and then save it as a png.
The clock is beautiful widgets from the market. The Google Voice widget is from the G2 leak. You need to have enabled sideloading on your phone to download the apk.
In Launcher Pro, if you long press an icon on the dock it gives you an option to change the icon. Hit custom icon and it will bring you to the gallery where you can choose any photo to use as an icon. In Launcher Pro, icons should be sized around 84x84 to fit correctly.

How do you change the icons on the Homescreen? Not the dock icons, but the other ones.

i didn't post it, i just quoted it. It was posted by the name at the top of the wallpaper. I actually was wanting some more info from him or her. I want to know what the media player that is or where and how do you get deviantart.

Use a program like BetterCut or Desktop Visualizer to make shortcuts with custom icons. I prefer the latter as it's more straightforward than BetterCut and gives you a couple more options. You can also make them widgets, which you can resize to make bigger which I've seen used pretty nicely in some screens here and on XDA.
