Not very interesting but this is day 6 of my first Android phone. The wallpaper is the Beautiful Widgets live weather.

I've only had mine for a couple of days. Upgraded from samsung eternity. So this is my first "smart phone". The customization is unreal. I'm sure it will change a lot in the coming weeks but this is what I have got so far.

What Icon set is this?

Thanks

Decided to ditch the notification bar (for now) and use the BattStatt/Tajm combo for the time being.

Background was found on XDA, the homescreen icons are the red variant of Kovicon Hybrid icons available here, and the dock is Dreamlyfe dock. Icons in the dock are UltraLinx' Mnmltext icons. Launcher is LauncherPro Plus.

There are now 50 pages relating to these circle battery mods. Since I don't feel like reading them all...

1. Are they stable?
2. Is it worth whatever is involved. In other words, is the ROI there?

At least from my experience it appears to be stable...and its an easy enough 'install' that I felt it worth while - plus you can very easily restore your previous battery if you decide you don't like it.

So does the phone need to be rooted to install it?

You do some really outstanding home screen designs!

Thanks! I always feel like they are all unfinished though :/
I wanted to post one more of mine, with the notification bar visible, just to show the MetaMorph I'm using on it. It's great with dark themes, it's the Minimal Metamorph, with the circle battery mod, it is gray up until it hits 15%, at that point the percentage turns red. It's really good if you're not going for a lot of color.

Is it possible to change ALL of the icons in the drawer, or just the ones that come with the theme packs for ADW? Or can this be done with another launcher? They seem half asses and ugly when only half the icons change.

I've had to go back to using TouchWiz simply because the icons all look uniform in their boxes. One of the few things I like about the iPhone is that all the icons are the nice uniform square. I want that same consistency in my home screen and apparently drawer, even if I have to make the icons myself. The trouble is how do I apply them?

To change them in the app drawer you need to root your phone. Then you can go into each individual .apk and change the icon. the icons are in the folders res>drawable-hdpi>ic_launcher_... depending on what apk it is that your changing the icons for

On LauncherPro you can make all the dock items accessible by either press or swipe. I'm guessing that with item #2 you must have accidentally set it to work as swipe instead of press.

Press and hold the icon until the "Edit Dock Shortcut" pops up - you'll have the option to "change shortcut", "change icon", or "swipe gesture action".

Personally, I 'double up' my icons.

Pressing my phonebook icon pulls up my phonebook. Swiping it pulls up my contacts.
Pressing my sms icon pulls pulls up handcent (sms). Swiping it pulls up gmail.
Pressing my app launcher icon pulls up the app tray. Swiping it pulls up AppBrain.
Pressing my nav icon pulls up GPSTest. Swiping it pulls up Google Nav.
Pressing my browser icon pulls up Skyfire (browser). Swiping it pulls up my camera.

Some of these may only make sense to me, but they work for me. You could quite easily make your own 'combos' for ease and accessibility.

chicknlil I am having issues with this as well, I "Press and hold the icon until the "Edit Dock Shortcut" pops up" then select "change shortcut" but I still get an error message "Could not launch the requested activity"

Any help?
