sugarpunz:

If you mean the apps in the App Drawer- no, there is no way to arrange them other than alphabetical (at least that I know of). The most you can do there is go into "General Settings"-> "Hidden Apps" and select apps to not show in the App Drawer.

If you want your apps to be arranged or organized differently, try using an app like Folder Organizer. Apps like this allow you to categorize any app you want into one or more "Folders". Then you can put a widget link to that folder right on your desktop. When you press the widget a menu pops up with just those apps you have in that folder. You can also have the popup arrange apps alphabetically, by use, etc.

Hope this helps!

Try TallMin to start...there's also SimpText and Mnmltext. But really, if you've got some sort of graphics program like Photoshop or GIMP, you can make your own. I can't remember offhand if the size is supposed to 72x72 or 128x128, but you can experiment with what looks best.

dude how do I get my incredible to look like that?

Okay, I think I have finally reached the end of tweaking my "Android7 Theme":

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Device: Unrooted HTC Droid Incredible.
Launcher: LauncherPro (Plus).
Image widgets: Desktop Visualizer.
Lockscreen: WidgetLocker.
Lockscreen clock: Beautiful Widgets.

The first image in the second row is my main homescreen. The blue widgets are a combination of free widgets I downloaded and reskinned using APK Manager. They aren't exactly the "Living Tiles" of the Windows Phone 7- but they all work- including the notification badges on the Phone, Message, and Gmail widgets.

Details on this theme are in this thread: Android Phone 7 Theme.

I love this set up

Ok, I have been out of touch with the android community for awhile now! I see many new home screen options and a few that I would like to use.
1.How do I get the Tiles on my homescreen?
2.How do I get the slide bars

1. The tiles are all Desktop Visualizer widgets and reskinned widgets from the market. All info is here: Android Phone 7 Theme.

2. If "slide bars" means the lockscreen, download WidgetLocker.

Hope this helps!

Clock widget and Weather widget = ????

THANKS!

Had answered this previously, so relinking that answer...

Launcher is LauncherPro with custom icons (text ones I made myself, the button I got on XDA). Should also note this is a version of LauncherPro customized on XDA so that the widgets are transparent.
The Music Player is a transparent version of Cubed (also on XDA).
The bar with the wireless/bluetooth/airplane (etc) is SwitchPro (available on the market for $$).
The weather is Beautiful Widgets (4x1) (also available on the market for $$).
The date is extdate widget (free on the market), and resized with the paid version of Launcher Pro (it's normally 2x1).

You're also seeing Alarm Clock Plus v2 (paid version on the market) on my lockscreen. I prefer it as an alarm clock for its level of customization.

Lemme know if you have any more questions.

Also changed the lockscreen up a few days ago...this is what it looks like now...

I am not posting my screens because I change it almost every week.

I did want to thank all the users that post their screenshots. I truly enjoy them and I also take ideas to make my mods.

One of the aspects I enjoy about Android OS is the flexibility of customizations.

Thank you all.
Dan
:D

1. What has he done and how do I do it???? lol
2. How'd you get that battery widget?
3. How'd you get those messaging and email icons?

Thanks

1. What has SHE done you mean? :p
2. Presuming you mean the battery widget on the lockscreen, that's Circle Battery Widget.
3. At the time, I modified the APK of SMS Unread Count to use Metro icons. The app developer has made it easier to use custom icons now though - just need to put your icons in \data\com.kanokgems.smswidget on the SD Card.

Hope this helps!
