Post your internet speeds!

Claiming 25mbps down isn't much....I can stream decent quality in Netflix with 2mbps down, which means low-HD (720p). If 25mbps down were possible I'd be in heaven!

What I'm sitting on at home. I've got a buttload of family over hogging up my bandwidth, so speeds are lower than usual.

While tonight Netflix streamed in three bars, speedtest.net still thought I was at .10-.20mbps down. Either it doesn't work on wifi or it doesn't like my netgear router...I know its faster than that! 3G speeds are accurate just not wifi. Sometimes it claims I have zero Mbps and 1mbps upload...app glitch? Ping speeds report properly though..just a hang and then inaccurate results for download and sometimes upload speeds.

Tell me how I can stream Netflix in HD with this for results? This tells me that testing over wifi isn't possible, or the decimal is in the wrong spot, as I should be seeing 1.5 Mbps down and 1.3 up by my package plan

1.3-1.5 is good enough to stream Netflix in lower HD resolution (720p) but you notice the limits when you try downloading a large file of some kind. If it spans multiple gigs forget it. Since they fixed the subscriber module I've not had any rebuffering since unless the router just dies.

Recently switched over to FiOS and I couldn't be more happy with their Internet service.
Ever have to call Optonline's tech support? (I used them from the time they came out to my block until I left NY.)

If you have, compare what you got with what you get from Verizon tech "support". I tried Verizon about 3 times over the years, never dropping Optimum while I was doing the trial. Always ended up canceling Verizon. Optimum was worth the extra money.

Maybe VZ has finally caught on and realized that tech unsupport loses customers, but the last time they sent me the wrong modem 3 times before I told them to forget it.

Sucks during winter to use a WISP. every winter i get seriously slow rates. summer though, or early morning it's 1Mbps plus
14+-+1

tried using my Galaxy S3 that way and I chewed through a 4GB data plan in one night just browsing the web....at least, I got that little 'you used 75% of your data' text from Verizon.

my current 3g connection providing only 2mbps download speed..such a decent one comparing to your 25mbps.

I'm on boost mobile and wanted to know my connection speed. So I downloaded the first speed test app I found and gave it a test. Here are my results. This is on my Moto G.
