I played at an early age and represented my high school in my best fashion back in the day. I quit the game and I'm just now returning after a 50+ year absence. I am terrible at the game now... almost dangerous. :) It's a great game all the same.

I've decided there should be more music in my classes. Got this idea after I heard a couple of my students playing Beatles - Yellow Submarine on a dizi(Chinese flute) and a violin.

Interesting things I found about the Yamaha PSS-F30 keyboard. It's got quite a few instruments that are Indian, like various Harmoniums, Sitars, Tablas, etc. together with BollyMix, IndianPop, HindiBallad, Banghra, etc. rhythms. It's also made in India, and not China. :thumbsupdroid:

Mine does have Chinese printing and instructions though.

My last purchase was a Synology DS220+ NAS / Media Server to replace the NAS that Western Digital says is obsolete and needs to be replaced. No problem, WD! I'll wipe the two 6TB drives in your NAS and reuse them in one with far more features!

I can tell you what my next purchase will be, too. With prices going sky-high (the average American household will spend $3500 more this year on essentials compared to last year), crime is on the rise. We're getting a commercial-grade networked video surveillance system with sufficient 4K IR/mic video cameras to cover our home's entire perimeter with 24/7 recording. While we provide plenty of notice at our front door that it's locked for their safety and not ours, some people can't - or won't - read. So, we want to know what's out there... especially if we're on the road and not home.

My current fridge is 19 years old--it seems like it was just yesterday that I bought it! But, alas, 19 long years have gone by, and it's served its purpose very well, but had been showing signs of dying for a while now.

So I went with what I know, what works for me: Maytag. I've always wanted a side-by-side refrigerator, but never had one. I bought my three previous ones with some kind of limitation, whether it was price or size, a side-by-side was just never a viable option. Until now! I definitely did not want, and also did not want to PAY for, a water/ice dispenser, so you'll notice there is none. All I've ever heard from everyone I know with built-in ice makers is that they constantly break down. I would have to have plumbing re-done in my kitchen to use one, but since I already don't want that feature, it's not a problem!

It's arriving tomorrow. "We" (otherwise known as my live-in helper) will have the old one cleared out before the delivery truck arrives; they're hauling away the old one.

Even though my refrigerators historically live nice, long, double-digit lives, I went ahead and bought a 3-year extended warranty plan, just in case. You know what 'they' say: they don't make things like they used to! :D

A couple of years back (10 years ago:thinking:) we bought a Samsung refrigerator with the double doors, I absolutely love that thing I think we paid around $700-$800. We moved and left it behind didn't have room for it at the new place, my goal is to someday get one just like it again, hope you enjoy yours
