For my new deck at my cabin.

^^^ Looks comfy... I always wanted to have a cabin, though given where I now live it would have to be too far away to be really useful. Maybe I'll just get the cabin and retire into it when the time comes...(thanks for helping me daydream a bit).

BTW, re: your sig, are you "fishing" for more members? :D :D :D

I'm in this cabin on the cheap. It's seventeen miles from my front step but seems many miles away. I'm only leasing the place but have been leasing for a number of years. It's right on the river and the fishing is good. The guy that owns the land is my age and we get along very well. The lease is cheap but I keep fixing the place up which makes my expense more but the owner appreciates what I do. He will likely sell it to me some day. I ask yearly and he gets more tempted as the years pass. It ain't much.. but hey, it's a great place to unwind.

As for the sig,.. sister forums that could certainly use the traffic.... hop in.

OK.. This laptop is a BEAST! So I had it up & running for about an hr and next thing I knew, the cooling fan started screaming like something was partially stuck in it. So after looking around for particles/contaminates (cuz I was on an immaculate tabletop) I found some cardboard "hairs" in my battery pocket area that I'm certain was a mfgr deal and most likely the cause of said noise. So back to Asus the laptop goes, Lol. Might be a cpl weeks to return but I'm ecstatic to get it back.. [emoji41]

I bought a soft-close toilet seat that is also easy-clean. A bit more involved to install than the usual toilet seat, but now that it's in place, pop up the back caps and the seat comes off so you can clean the toilet more easily. Kind of cool. Although now I have to be ultra-aware when I go to someone else's house because I'm already in the habit of just tipping the seat (or lid) and letting it close on its own...not good. ;)
I have the same style in my house, and just installed one in my in laws last night. And yeah, anywhere else I go I'm slamming the lid. :p

Someone may have completely borked our security system when attempting to remove zones configured for sensors on the windows he just had replaced, and he found that the old fixed-text keypad wasn't really great for system programming...

So someone gets to muddle through the control panel's installation guide tomorrow to try and make things work again.

Sucks to be THAT guy.
Not really, I'm pretty excited about getting to play with it!

Not pictured: 15 new windows.

I didn't think your truck was that old, unless you drive too fast down those narrow New England streets. ;)

It's a 2013. Not supposed to die, but alas, stuff happens. What's more annoying is that in MA any signal light you have must work, even if said light isn't legally required. That's why I don't add any extra lights to my truck.

I have often wondered about the rigs that have a whole string of lights on them....
hundreds of lights.....

Technically any one of those things could get you a gig...
