Not my intention to either brag or lecture, but likely gonna' look like both.
But seriously.....A bargain, for what you get in exchange, I'm certain not news to any of you.
For either straight up research, or just sheer entertainment, you can get lost there for hours; Help em' keep doing it, keep it ad free.

But I caught the tail end of the "Busy, busy, busy" Advert for the Galaxy 7, had to go and find the whole thing.......Pretty funny, IMHO.
Edit: There is a chopped up, 30 second version of the (far better) full length version, look for that one.

Le sigh. 5 watt tube amp because I really don't need it. In my defense though it is on sale for 20% off and is not expensive to begin with. Le sigh.
Celestions are great speakers tho!
It gets really good reviews. I do have a little Fly 3 that is fine for what it is but I think this will be much better. haha. I recently converted a standard Tele to an Esquire with a '52 Original Vintage pickup. It's great, bright and twangy like a Tele should be but a little tooooo bright and twangy on the Fly 3. Sounds fantastic on my Blackstar HT-1R so I figure this will work nicely too.
And I'm planning on selling my recently aquired tablet that I used once to my sister so that will pretty much pay for the amp

I used to hook up my MP3 player to my CRATE fullstack.. (500w S.S stereo head pushing 8 x 12's) led to my home getting a bunch of *attempted* robberies, at least 5. Was grateful for my brindle pit/mastiff, Lmfao!

Oh. Because I ordered a new amp my other blew a tube. So yeah. Ordered some tubes just now. I guess it was jealous or something.

Usually.. My Bolt ran 6L6's too
And 12AU7. Ordered some Tung Sol. Not really sure what's in there, haven't popped it open yet. I bought it used so no idea what they are or how old.
6L6 is for the power amp, beam-tetrodes I believe. And 12AU7, 12AX7 double triodes in the preamp sections.
They likely are from China or Russia. Frankly I don't think tubes are made anywhere else now.
Russia. Used to be an American company though.

No pictures (yet) but just booked the last vacation for the foreseeable future. My wife is having surgery at the end of September and that will use the last of her PTO for this calendar year and she'll be down for the count for at least 60 days as far as "travel". So I just booked a Labor Day trip. We'll be road tripping from KC to Sioux Falls SD on Friday, then on through Badlands National Park, on to Keystone, SD on Saturday. Then Mount Rushmore Sunday morning then South through Chadron State Park in Nebraska make a side run to Scott's Bluff and Chimney Rock National Monument, overnight in Grand Island Sunday, back home Monday.
Excited, haven't been to the Badlands or Rushmore since I was a kid, and never hit any of the parks in NE. Should be good wholesome fun.
